Publication Grant "Publish Now!" 2026
For the second time at the turn of the year 2025/26, ARTHENA FOUNDATION invites applications for a grant to support artists living or born in Germany in financing a publication.
For artists, publications continue to play a central role in disseminating and discussing their work. In view of the continuing high demand for funding opportunities for publication projects, the grant focuses on the printed book, which will continue to make a significant contribution to cultural exchange in the future.
The grant is aimed at artists who wish to publish their work in an artist book. Funding will be provided for two publications that reflect on the medium of the book in a special way with regards to the artist’s own work. In addition to substantial financial support, the institution also offers professional advice on the realisation of the project. With this multilayered funding measure, ARTHENA FOUNDATION aims to support artists in their professional development.
